Tokyo Community Radio is an independent streaming platform based in Tokyo that focuses on local DJs and up-and-coming young artists from all over Japan. It transcends genre boundaries and highlights each artist’s perspective and individuality through DJ mixes, live performances, and conversations about music. The podcast features content that offers a glimpse into the artists’ musical roots, daily thoughts, and backgrounds. While building a network with community radio stations across Asia, we also prioritise supporting overseas artists visiting Japan and fostering cross-cultural connections. In addition to regular broadcasts, we collaborate with companies and brands, produce events, and propose and match DJs to spaces and projects. From Tokyo, to the next community.
