Sydhavnsbølgen is a volunteer-run community radio station based at Frontløberne in Aarhus, Denmark, founded in October 2023. Every show is produced by volunteers, with programming ranging across youth culture, underground scenes, music, conversations, and local stories. The station exists to make the city feel a little smaller by broadcasting the voices of your friends—and the people who might soon become your friends. Sydhavnsbølgen is built on the belief that community radio should be open, accessible, and rooted in authenticity. It aims to make getting on air as easy as possible while prioritizing diverse and pluralistic voices, with a special focus on Aarhus' emerging cultural scene and perspectives that are often underrepresented in traditional media.
