Extra-genre community radio «Fantasia» originated by Contemporary Art Center "Typography" workers in Krasnodar, russia is to create a platform to speak openly about actual problems of the world society and archive materials collected by artists, curators, journalists, art and social theorists, sonic researchers and sound poets. After russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, Typography was registered as a foreign agent. We were forced to suspend public activities, close our space, and most of our collective left Russia. Since then, we've worked translocally, organizing a residence in Yerevan, KICA (Krasnodar Institute of Contemporary Art), and Fantasia Community Radio, inviting collaborators from conflict-ridden geographies. We reshaped our work formats and currently operate as a dispersed union of culture workers, focusing on strategies of resistance to military aggression and state violence, decolonial possibilities, migration, agency, and comradeship amid rising reactionism. We create an impulse and hope that it will find an outlet in different points of reality, we want to come together with those cultural workers that continue to work in difficult situations all around the world.
