We simply can’t do without radio. Getting started on this together was a matter of urgency for us – our own little everyday utopia. NEU RADIO was created in 2018 bringing together all those who share the same desire: to support and promote the power and uniqueness of the art and music we love. Founded by a group of writers, journalists, radio presenters and DJs, it reaches out to anyone with a love of music, culture and art. Since 2019, it has been streaming from various locations across the city of Bologna: the first studio is in the park of the Dopo Lavoro Ferroviario, at Baumhaus, whilst the second is in the Museum of Modern Art in Bologna – MAMbo. Neu Radio live schedule comprises around different shows, offering an eclectic selection of music and cultural insights. We broadcast music, cultural programmes, collaborating with festivals and similar organisations. Neu radio produces podcasts and interviews, and broadcasts live performances and cultural events in partnership with cultural organisations, festivals and artists. A project to shed at least a little light on a world that seems to be growing ever darker.
